When Morris Potashner, the little old grandpa, refuses to have the operation for his glaucoma-induced eye pressure and opts for an experimental marijuana treatment, that\u2019s when the excitement begins. Much to the chagrin of Ida, his wife of fifty years, Morris attends and “outpatient self-help clinic” which turns out to be a multicultural senior citizens pot den. Within the den\u2019s lush jungle of lava lamps, power-bongs and four insanely stoned out seniors, Morris discovers getting old<\/em> isn\u2019t quite as easy as getting high<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In 1994 the short film PRESSURE DROP exploded onto the independent film scene. Accepted to 18 film festivals worldwide (winning awards at Chicago, Columbus and New Orleans Film Festivals), PRESSURE DROP has become a cult classic. The film also screened in over 20 U.S. cities with the independently distributed feature film WEED.<\/p>\n

The website www.pressuredrop.com<\/a><\/strong> was launched in 1995 (which in web year is a long freakin’ time ago).\u00a0 The site has won several awards and is packed with fun and useful information about the film and its creators.<\/p>\n
